About Your New Website from JCM

• The website will be 100% Responsive. This means it will magically scale and reorient itself to display clearly and with good readability across all digital screens. This includes big Flat Screen TVs, Desktop Computers, Tablets, and Cell Phones.
• The website will include the installation of a Content Management System (CMS). The Content Management Software will allow you or your staff to easily add and update content on your website without the need for any advanced website skills.
• You have the choice of having your new website be a multi-page design or a trendy one-page design.
• Your new website by Johnson Creative Media will be Search Engine Friendly. Companies who advertise build-your-own websites are not always SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. SEO is very important.
• Your new website will be totally yours. Your JCM website will provide the control to save and store it, move it, change hosting, control your domain name, keep your email addresses, take the design with you, and more. The BIG companies who provide self-design drag & drop websites don't necessarily let you do that. If at some point you decide you would like to leave them because their pricing and terms are no longer to your liking, you may loose most of what you have worked so hard to build. They own your website. You can't take it with you.
• I will walk you through the entire project. During the design process you will be provided with clear information. Details on how you get started will be explained in easy to understand terms. I'll help you organize it all from the start.
• Instead of working with a remote company, you are welcome to spend time alongside me in front of the giant and little computer screens as we bring your ideas to life. I'm located less than 15 minutes from midtown Nashville.

Concept for the Day

If you have been thinking that it might finally be the time to get yourself a real website, or if you are long overdue in replacing your hopelessly out of date website, how do you decide if now is the right time to get started? There is actually a story based on an old Chinese proverb that may be of some use to you. Many of us struggle with conflicting thoughts. Did I wait too long to get in for this to be effective, or conversely, I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for this yet.

Here is the story of the traditional proverb. A few young people ask a wise elder this simple question. "What is the best time to plant a tree?" His answer, "twenty years ago". (OK, ideally we could have grown substantially by now, if we had started sooner.)  Next another student asks, "When is the second best time to plant a tree?" The elder answers, "now".
